This can result in having multiple switches and points of control in each room creating a sort of wall acne which is not easy on the eye. Does this really make for a more convenient lifestyle? We can improve the way technology is added to our homes without the risk of it becoming complicated. We can add extra lighting in your kitchen renovation or extension without a bank of switches to control it all… You can have a heating system that works on a room-by-room basis without extra buttons on the wall…
If you read on, we are hoping to introduce you to a versatile home automation and control solution that by its very nature is designed to add as little or as much modern-day convenience to your home as you would like without complicating the way you live in it.
A better way of control
For control of a smart home to be as simple and convenient as possible we recommend having a defined method of control that stays the same in every room you are in.
The Loxone Standard takes into consideration what needs controlling in a room on a daily basis and assigns this to five touch points on a single switch. The large centre touchpad controls the lighting and the four smaller corner touch points control the shading and music. In rooms where there is for instance no music, the touch points can be freely assigned to something else (to be confirmed prior to start of works).
The Loxone App
While apps on tablets and phones shouldn’t need to be a daily point of interaction. When it is needed the app will be there to do all of the fine tuning and granular control you need on the system.
The layout of the app is based around Rooms and Categories, making finding and controlling what you need simple and intuitive.
